Homelessness In Dallas

As of 2023, there are nearly 4,500 homeless individuals living on the streets of Dallas. They work with us, sleep with us, eat with us, live with us. They sleep on sidewalks and in tent cities, and are subject to the cruelties of weather and city propositions. They are friends, family, and neighbors.

We believe it is our calling to help them in any way possible.

318 Outreach believes that every individual has the inherent right to life, which encompasses well-being, housing, and the pursuit of happiness. Collectively, we have the potential to effect change, whether through modest acts of service or significant systemic improvements. Regardless of one’s health, disability, age, or employment status, every human being deserves a sense of security. As the challenges of homelessness persist in Dallas, 318 Outreach remains committed to offering tangible solutions and fostering positive outcomes through our efforts. Together, we contribute to our community through our various initiatives, and our congregation comprises some of the most compassionate individuals in our region.

Committed To Help Through Outreach

Several non-profit organizations and city initiatives collaborate with 318 Outreach to address, prevent, and provide assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness in Dallas. Through the implementation of practical solutions and meeting people where they are, 318 Outreach and its partners continually explore ways to support the homeless population, whether by offering food and temporary shelter or collaborating with the city to develop sustainable living solutions.

It is our belief in the importance of helping those in need that guides us, and through our outreach programs, we can have a profound impact on the Dallas community. We invite you to join us and contribute to expanding our outreach efforts; we always welcome additional assistance and more smiling faces!
